What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I think being able to see students improve their skills under my guidance is extremely rewarding. Also, personally I just find it fun and empowering to talk about mathematics/ something I am passionate about (since I have a degree in it!).

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I really do try to be engaging; I try to speak to students as an equal. I think talking to them as regular people and have regular conversations helps students feel confident. I know I don't have all the answers, and so sometimes if I get stuck on something I am explaining I find it useful to tackle the problem together or as a class because I think this helps maintain an open dialogue with everyone.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Try to make them feel confident in themselves and build intuition. Maths is hard and it is easy to feel discouraged; so being able to boost morale and keep them going is important in them being successful.
