What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I really enjoy the feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction that comes with teaching a student. When they understand a concept and end up doing well on a test or on an assignment, it feels like one's own achievement. It's truly rewarding to see a student blossom and embrace their true potential.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor, I believe my strengths include explaining concepts in a fun and relatable manner and connecting with the student. I approach academics with an attitude that includes understanding the core of the subject and building onto this core knowledge.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to look beyond a finite textbook and ensure they truly understand what the subject says. A tutor should be able to instill the question 'why?' into a student. 2+2=4 is a universally true statement that no one would dare question, however, as a tutor, I want students to question everything. At first, this may seem strange, tedious, even but in the long run, this develops critical thinking.
Moreover, a tutor should be able to learn from their student.
