What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

As the eldest of four, I have a natural connection with children. I have previous experience with babysitting and with tutoring young children. I have learned that supporting children academically can help them to flourish personally, and feel happier and more confident at school. I find this incredibly rewarding.

One strength of mine is that I am an extremely organised and solution-oriented person. As a tutor, this means that I can be strategic in finding a teaching technique that resonates with whoever I am working with. I am also a very friendly and approachable person. With tutoring, it is important that the child feels comfortable enough to be able to ask questions.

The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is giving them confidence and equipping them with skills to find solutions on their own. Rather than simply copying a tutor's methods or solutions, it is essential that a student develops the skills to confidently approach new issues they could be faced with.
