What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The most enjoyable aspect of tutoring is that I am able to help students learn and make progress academically. This instills a sense of happiness for me as seeing students improve as a result of my services drives me to work harder.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor i believe that I am very approachable. In this sense, I am able to freely talk to students in a way that would not intimidate them, but rather be on the same wavelength as them. This helps students to open up and allows me to see their strengths and weaknesses. Furthermore, from my experience as an instructor, I am used to quick thinking and improvisation when things do not go as expected. In this aspect, I believe that maintaining a professional environment even when things do not go right incites students to trust their tutor.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to help them build small skills which they are able to use in their lives. For example, helping a student open up means that they have developed that skill which will help them to open up to their teachers perhaps at school etc. I believe that the role of a teacher is to help students grow but a role of a tutor is to help students develop the foundations in order to grow

Student was immersed in the session explained key sac related strategies. Covered questions she was unsure of in preparation for her sac on friday and introduced her to lesson layouts. She has been introduced to talking out loud, memory triggers etc.
Need to spend less time over explaining an idea. Sometimes I went too overboard explaining something that was not relevant. I need to keep track of time as there were things I planned to do at the end of the lesson but did not have enough time for it
