What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Getting to see someones mind expand as they learn something new, or a new way to think. I love helping people fulfill their potential, It feels like I'm doing something truly helpful.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am very understanding and willing to adapt to my student's specific learning styles. If a student is more visual or kin-aesthetic in their learning, then I'll more than happily shape my tutoring to accommodate that. I also know how to handle students when they're feeling distressed or pressured, and can be very calm and supportive whilst tutoring.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Help them understand the core of what they're doing and why. I think this because I believe that just understanding the surface of what you are doing will never truly teach you why you are doing it, which makes it more forgettable. In my experience, understanding the core of a topic helps me as new parts of it are introduced, giving me tools to apply to them, which is critical in helping a student learn more quickly.
