What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Personally, I enjoy watching the growth of students the most. While it may be hard at first for some students to get a grasp on good studying habits, I find watching them start to enjoy study over time to be one of the most satisfying things of helping younger students.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe my patience and persistence are two of my strongest assets as a tutor. Even I have had many times where I did not understand a concept or question until it was repeated 4 or 5 times, so I apply that when teaching my own students new concepts, giving them plenty of time to try and understand and solve the problem at hand. However, I am not a fan of mindlessly repeating errors, so I believe being aware of your past mistakes is critical to improving as a student
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Truly caring for your students personal growth is what I believe to really set apart great tutors from your run of the mill tutors. Growing up, I've had my fair share of tutors and I have felt it truly makes a difference when your tutor is trying to help you learn, instead of just trying to earn money.
