Amelia seems to retain the concept of perimeter and area quite well. She naturally approaches it well as it is likely something she is quite familiar with.

Amelia needs to work on thinking outside the box (pun intended), and negotiating solutions based on what information she does and doesn't have. We also need to work on her confidence and build a good relationship with the subject.

Picked up the financial maths quite quickly, especially when explained in a different context. Going over the basics again, really helped with knowing which operations to use.

Needs to work on problem sovling skills, however this will come with time and practise.

When put into a real life context, Amelia was able to work through the problems with prompts.

Amelia just needs more practise doing problems, and maybe a refresher on the processes.

Amelia eventually grasped the key topics, this was quite good as this sort of thinking doesn't come naturally to a lot of students.

She did well in all aspects, although I wish I could have spent a little more time going through other concepts that may come up. As I don't think she is self sufficient in it yet. However, the teacher is unlikely to cover much more in the last week of school :)
