What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I am a bright, enthusiastic individual who loves English and Maths + I think tutoring provides an opportunity to share my knowledge with students and enable them to further their skills and discover a passion for these subjects. I enjoy being able to help improve students and build their confidence in academics so they can excel in school. Also, I think there is something so lovely when students understand a concept and I personally love that feeling. Its my favourite part of tutoring when students enjoy their lessons as well as enjoy the subject and learning.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am versatile in the sense that I can explain one concept in many different ways to suit a student's learning style for eg. some individuals may be more analytical or visual learners. Also, I am a super persistent individual who doesn't give up - which in cases where students are struggling to understand concepts, I will keep trying to help them understand and learn. I am a calm yet bubbly individual who doesn't get irritated or perturbed and I will always try to connect to students on a personal level so they feel comfortable with me. This also allows me to understand how to best tutor them.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important things a tutor can do for a student is: instigate a passion for learning inside the student (allowing them to feel confident and excited about school and academics). Another important thing is: ensuring that the students are confident in concepts and the basics/foundation of their respective subjects that are being learnt, so this allows them to tackle easy and difficult levels of work as their foundation in the subject will be solid. I also think it's important for the tutor to make the subject fun and enjoyable, so that the students enjoy the subject and coming to class.
