What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I particularly enjoy watching people finally get something. That moment when they finally get that light bulb moment and understand something in its entirety. Moreover, I find that whenever I would be teaching someone I would achieve a sense of gratification; it would really make me feel contempt.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe that one of my strengths as a tutor is to be able to be flexible. Not every student has the same learning style and sometimes they may need someone to explain something in a different manner. Wherein, I believe my strength lays to be able to explain a topic in a variety of ways.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most vital thing a tutor can do for any student is to ensure comprehension of the topic. Notably, in math. It is easy enough to follow a procedure on how to solve a problem, running through the steps that were taught. However, if a student can understand why those steps are happening, and delve into fundamentals of the problem, then they can unlock many a skill, for instance, problem-solving. I believe that anybody can teach someone steps on how to do something, but it takes a tutor to teach why.
