What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The most enjoyable aspect of tutoring for me would have to be helping a student learn something new or achieve something that they thought they were unable to get. The feeling of excitement that comes with their progress is something that I share with them, which makes the job more rewarding.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths would be patience and adaptability. Through my experiences I have discovered that each student learns at a different pace and with different learning techniques. I am able to stay calm and avoid frustration when a student is having difficulties, which allows the student to be more comfortable and persist with the task. Also, some students learn with different methods such as repetition, visual explanation or with physical interactions. Knowing this I am able to tailor a different program for the needs of each student.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe that the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to become a mentor; to guide the student through their learning process, that rather than criticising them for mistakes, a tutor should show how to learn from their mistakes and improve. This creates a friendly, cooperative and stress free environment where they can express their areas in need for improvement without the fear of being judged. I have found that with these foundations any student can achieve their final academic goals.
