* Being able to see the expressions on student's faces when they are able to understand a concept or problem * Being able to help students achieve their academic goals * It helps build relationship's and see the academic progress and improvement over time

* Being able to understand the state of a student, what they need help with and where they need improvement * Having patience and acknowledge that the student may not understand everything immediately * Having a strong knowledge of the recent syllabus * Being able to adapt to different needs of students depending on the situation
