What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
There are three things I enjoy most about tutoring. First is that as a tutor I can make a subject more enjoyable to others, help them to understand it more clearly and realise that is not as difficult as the might think. Also, I enjoy that it allows me to share my knowledge with other people. And finally, I like that tutoring is not an activity in which I just teach something, but also I learn many things from that experience.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I have a lot of informal tutoring experience, and from it, I have recognised what I think are my main strengths. One that I always try to explain the topics in a way that is easy for each person. I understand that every person learns differently and I try to adapt to it. Another one is that I'm patient and comprehensible and I enjoy helping others. Also, I think my passion and my interest in the subjects are an important strength. Finally, my last strength is that I have taught to children from many different ages, from 5-18 years old.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think that a big reason why I love for maths are the teachers I have had through all my life. They taught me not just the abilities I needed to be good in maths but also they developed on me a huge interest and passion for the subject. For that reason, for me, the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to develop that interest for a subject on them. To help them recognise that they can succeed on any subject and to make the learning an enjoyable process.
