What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The ability to help students understand concepts that they may have previously been struggling with and teach them skills that they could use to improve their own learning. It's always nice to see them succeed academically from your support.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think my strengths include good communication skills, developed through university and my experiences teaching Olympiad level chemistry to Yr 11 students during high school where I learnt how to simplify and explain complex concepts. I'm also able to help students develop their answers and express themselves during an exam situation, and adjust their learning to suit their own style.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think the most important things a tutor can do are to ease any fears or concerns students may have regarding their own performance and encourage or help them to try new methods of learning that are most suitable for the student. A tutor should also prevent students from dwelling too much on any mistakes they have made in the past and instead guide them on how they could improve for the future.
