What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Tutoring to me is the most interesting way of getting students to feel confident about their academic placing at school. I enjoy the feeling of being able to share my study experiences in order to enable my students to reach their fullest potential. Making the learning process likeable, finding different methods of teaching concepts, answering questions and motivating them to pull through exam pressure, all combined complete fully equip students to perform to their best. I enjoy giving back, helping and understanding what my student really needs.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor, I believe in finding the right study plan for the student, suitable to their needs, capabilities and academic goals.
I use different learning techniques, provide them with ample amounts of practice (constant revision through past papers or worksheet) and also patiently work through explaining concepts to students rather than answering everything straight away, enabling them to answer questions themselves.
I talk about exam pressure, time management, planning and organising in order to give them an overall skillset required for academic success.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
A student comes to a tutor looking for extra help, answers and guidance. I strongly feel that tutors can make a huge difference to a student's academic front. The most important things us tutors can do are be patient and listen, willing to explain more than once if required, enable students to end up answering their questions rather than answering it for them (at times - answering it also helps the students understand as long as further practice consolidates that they have thoroughly understood the concept) and lastly, making sure concepts are clear.
