What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I love when students finally understand how to use the concepts they have learnt and are able to confidently apply them to different types of questions. That is proof to me that what I have taught them really made sense to them and not them just saying that they understood to get me off their backs.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My patience and ability to change the approaches I use to explain concepts to students to best fit their style of thought process is my biggest strength. I also like to this so students become comfortable as they learn.
I also emphasise greatly on the importance of solutions and that reaching the answer is not enough if they don't know how to work it out since every question is different. My stubbornness on this is a strength to me but maybe an annoyance sometimes.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I personally consider the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to ease their lives by helping them understand what they couldn't on their own or with lack of help from their teachers. I want my students to understand how questions can be approached and answered and that may be a few ways to do things and to be not too single-minded (beyond questions).
