What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I greatly enjoy seeing a student’s eyes light up when something finally clicks that they’ve put effort into understanding. The opportunity to help them reach that level is a great privilege.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think my ability to connect with a student and help to translate a problem into a learning language they understand better than the one they’ve been taught in is one of my greatest strengths. I also consider myself a great listener, well versed in patience, and I can make math fun.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think the most important is to help a student feel confident in their intelligence, and in themselves. I needed a tutor in some subjects growing up, and it can feel bad to be “behindâ€Â. Helping a student to understand their learning styles and how to utilize them is a very important thing. Following that, I think being a listener and a fan are also important aspects to being a tutor.
