What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
That rewarding feeling you get after you see a student understand the information you have provided. It's like a light bulb moment where you see their eyes light up. For me, I love that feeling.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think I am very approachable and can adapt to the student's level. And from that I can build rapport with students and gain trust. Once that occurs, I can instill confidence in them so they have the motivation of wanting to continue to learn, rather than just doing it to perhaps satisfy parents/guardians requests.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think support and patience would be something I had wanted when I was younger. Learning is difficult and I remember feeling at times inadequate because of the questions I asked or how my own head didn't seem to understand how to get around the question presented. So, I'd want to make sure my students have confidence in themselves and that starts with trusting me as their mentor/tutor and knowing that I can be patient and supportive with their progress, step by step.
