What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Other than the academic aspect, there are also tips and survival tools that tutors can provide to students to make learning effective. Teaching with a goal that would last for a long time is enjoyable. I enjoy seeing progress and the gratifying end results of hard work but I also understand the pressure to get there. Good results are achieved through learning techniques developed over time which I would enjoy teaching to students.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths are being able to adapt, organized work ethic, and communicative skills. Students have different learning styles and I am able to adapt to their learning styles because I am both a visual and communicative learner. As a student, I like to write down my deadlines and organize my weekly schedule to have an efficient and productive day (with breaks of course). As I am a student of the arts and social sciences, I have a lot of readings and papers to write. My skills in research and writing would help students organize their thoughts and essay writing.

I understand the struggles of high school students - the anxiety of asking questions and the lack motivation to learn. A tutor should be able to create a safe space for communication to tackle problems and provide useful solutions to such issues. Also, an important characteristic a tutor should have is to help motivate students with a positive attitude as learning is a constant process that can also fun. It is also important for tutors to be understanding and patient over a student's well-being.
