What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy the light that shines in the student's eye once they realise that they could do the previous task that they weren't able to tackle before. This is very rewarding.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My main goal is to build confidence in my students. And I do this by explaining difficult and abstract concepts into simpler terms. Moreover, I help them develop and discover their own approach rather than blindly following my methodology. This is my strength. I go by my belief that a student will make progress once they start to believe in themselves.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Being patient and understanding. At the beginning of my tutoring journey, I provided several private one on one tutoring sessions. I started to expect a lot from the students as some students performed better than ours. But it is later I started understanding every student is different and we should always work at their pace. Never push them and give them individualized attention to boost their confidence and improve their learning skill. So the most important thing a tutor can do is provide a personalised learning.
