What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy spending that hour or two with my student teaching them something new everyday. I used to make it a habit to ask my students how their day was, how everything at school went before each lesson. I wanted my students to feel comfortable and relaxed with me so they could study in an enjoyable environment.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am a good listener and am able to communicate with my students really well. I am able to assist my students where they are struggling and help increase assessment grades. I am somewhat of a harsh marker and this allows my students to improve their work every time. I try to make my teaching methods and classes quite creative and fun so the students may enjoy their time learning with me. I have a strong background in Mathematica, English and Science.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to become their friend. Children are sometimes uncomfortable with teachers and are unable to fully explain where they struggle. However, if we are able to get them to open up we would be able to better assist them in improving their grades. A student who is comfortable in the learning environment will learn better and enjoy his/ her time learning.
