I think the most important thing a tutor can do is equipping the student with the resources and tips they need to be able to be good and excel at a subject. She needs to get better at worded questions and working things out herself. Also she gets distracted quite easily but I’m finding ways to work with it. I’m thinking of giving her homework so she can demonstrate her knowledge.
He did very well spelling the words. Also he seems to have a good knack for picking up new words and guessing their meaning.

Something I noticed is he tends to capitalise words when writing and forgets to use commas. I think this is something I’m gonna work on more with him. Just freestyle writing so he can get the grammar down.

He needs more practise with talking marks and writing different kinds of stories to get more confident. Going to work with him on this. As well as varying writing and using different strategies.
