What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love to help others learn and discover more about the world. Coming from an academic family and background, I have always found helping others find joy in learning fulfilling. I also enjoy helping shift learning perspectives when teaching a new subject/skill.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

One of my strengths, when it comes to tutoring, is being able to connect with a student to create a safe and healthy learning environment. I believe this comes from having done social work and gaining micro-counselling and interpersonal skills. Another strength I'd like to highlight is my ability to offer students affirmation and positive encouragement to help empower them and facilitate their learning.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe one of the most important things a tutor can do for a student is making the learning experience one that is fun, comfortable, safe, and enjoyable. I also believe being patient and understanding is an important characteristic in a tutor. I believe that students who comfortable in an educational setting are the ones that perform and learn the best.
