Hamish performed very well on the test for index laws. Hamish has a great systematic way of working through questions so that it is very easy to work back through to correct small mistakes.

Hamish would benefiting from reviewing his long multiplication and division for when this arises in future topics. Hamish seems to have a firm grasp up all concepts but should take care in ensuring final answers are fully simplified.

As mentioned previously this lesson was cancelled last minute by the client hence no content was covered with Zoe.

Due to a late lesson cancellation with Zoe there was not content covered this week with the client.

Genevieve worked really well to apply what she knew about the square multiplication to more complex problems involving 3 digit numbers and successfully recognized that when undertaking addition of numbers with carries that long addition is important as it allows the addition of the appropriate order of place values.

I would recommend that Genevieve works on her 7's and 8's times tables at home as sometimes these can be a bit of a stumbling block when undertaking more complex problems.

Once Zoe had completed a few questions on a certain concept of coordinate geometry she was able to problem solve in order to solve similar problems very successfully.

I would strongly suggest that Zoe makes sure to keep up with her notes from class so that she is able to refer back to these when tackling new concepts and revising for tests.
