What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy building a relationship with the student and seeing them thrive. I love seeing a student's confidence in their abilities grow, as well an improvement in their results.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I work well with kids and teens, as I am enthusiastic and make an effort to get to know them and play to their interests. I also teach the students how to break down questions and write their answers according to the marking criteria, instead of just telling them what to write.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Improving a student's results is obviously the goal for tutoring, but improving a student's confidence in themselves and their abilities is just as important. Watching a student start to believe in themselves and take the reins is a marker of success.

Sam went really well with it, didn't really have any issue with any of the questions at all. He learned from each question which made his estimates more accurate.

Not really any issues
Pretty much everything! Didn't really struggle at all with the fraction questions, or the decimals.

Only issue is not remembering how to do stuff, which is why we had to review the decimals

Still seems to struggle a bit with the algebra concepts, so this is something we can continue to work on.
Got the one-step equations pretty much straight away, and picked up on the 2-step equations after a couple of questions
