I am passionate about making a positive difference to the students I tutor. Making learning engaging and fun.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths as a tutor will be to provide students with the confidence to effectively communicate, by developing their literacy skills. Thereby, encouraging students to engage in critical thinking, while giving 'voice' to their creativity.
I am an active listener, I can observe and design learning to help students develop their skills in writing, reading and speaking. I also know the current English curriculum and expectations.
Additionally, I am competent in face-to-face and remote learning, with my media background I can integrate technology as tools for learning.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to support and respond to their needs by providing relevant materials that enhance their skills, confidence and engagement in their own learning. This involves a learning - assessment cycle that supports organisation skills, professional-friendly communication, learning strategies and accurate and timely feedback.
