What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Having a one-on-one interaction with the student to assist them academically and support them in achieving their learning goals. I value the different learning needs from students and will always try my best to provide optimal service.

I believe I am patient and reliable. I am willing to persist with a concept until it is well understood by the student. I am also committed and punctual. I also believe I am approachable as a tutor and get along with students easily.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Provide guidance and encouragement. Also allowing the student to have a go on their own will assist them in thinking for themselves whilst stepping in when needed. Making sure concepts are well understood by the student is of high importance and the tutor should facilitate this understanding. The student should start to feel more confident in their academic abilities and understanding of concepts related to the subject upon receiving tutoring. It is also important for the tutor to provide quality feedback and set goals for the student to achieve.
