What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The most exciting part about tutoring is that it forces the tutor to look at a particular concept from a different point of view so that better analogies can be made that can deliver the concept better. It is also gratifying to see student progress from their start point, even if it is by a single mark. Lastly, the smile on the learner's face that indicates how far they have come is a cherry on the top of all your efforts!

Personal attributes that I believe would contribute as strengths as a tutor Communication: Communicating openly and effectively with students has helped me build strong relationships with my former students, and this is important in terms of knowing the learner's strengths and weaknesses. Flexibility: Throughout my tutoring experience, I have implemented different teaching styles that meet the requirement of the student. Patience: I would happily go through difficult concepts many times while adapting different techniques just so that the right idea is delivered.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe understanding the calibre of the student and providing constant motivation is something a tutor must importantly do for a student because quite often the individuality of a student gets lost in class and so the tutor needs to grab onto that individuality of the student so that they can not just progress ahead academically but also stand on their own and be comfortable with their own learning style. Communicating with parents is also another vital thing a tutor can do for a student so that their ongoing progress is continued throughout the tutoring session.
