What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is seeing students discover confidence in themselves. Simply put, I also very much enjoy teaching the subjects that I'm passionate about, especially if that may foster some kind of passion in the student I'm tutoring.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe my approach to tutoring is unique in that I always begin by asking lots of questions. In the problem-solving process, I rarely launch into an explanation right away, but rather ask the students questions that help them see the problem in a different way. I think that this approach is more effective in the long term because it aims to build a generalized approach to problem-solving, rather than an understanding of a specific problem confined to the given tutoring session.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is foster their own confidence in the subject. Again, in the context of problem-solving, it's important to me not to establish an environment that feels like an expert explaining something to a layman. I believe much more strongly in an environment similar to friends solving a puzzle together.
