What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy seeing students finally start to understand the problems and seeing everything clicking. I enjoy the success of solving problems in math and want others to feel the same way and get that same satisfaction of working it out. Also when they're no longer needing as much help as before to understand.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Especially with maths, I think I'm a good visual teacher, able to use simple drawings/graphs/figures to make sense of a problem, and then help them apply that to more complex stuff. I also use simpler language as well so as to not confuse with difficult terms or explanations. I coach sports as well and I think some of that helps crossover into pushing students to keep trying and thinking, but also knowing when to ease up and just offer support and encouragement.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Encourage and support them to keep tackling whatever work or problems they have. Solving the problem or giving them the answer won't help them learn or teach them anything. And even if they get the answers wrong or never really understand a question, they at least tried and they have learned to work hard and think about different ways of solving problems.
