My Strengths as Tutor 💪

A tendency to burn the candle at both ends has in the past constituted a flaw, albeit a manageable one. Also my modesty has at times been read as shyness. My strength is in analytical and creative thinking with respect to texts, a skill that I have developed as part of my training in philosophy. In addition, I consider myself a cordial and responsible adult.

It is wise for a tutor to instill within the student a sense of excitement and confidence. Excitement stems from a meaningful process of learning, and confidence comes about at the solving of the process. Also important is the establishment of a pleasant rapport with the student.
