What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy seeing students learn to problem-solve and grow their own independence. I feel that my job as a tutor is to make myself obsolete, and I enjoy witnessing moments of growth and change.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

A key strength is my ability to explain difficult concepts in simple ways. I can adapt my teaching to the needs of the student, to work from where they are at, and grow from there. I am patient, a great communicator, and can explain topics in a way which highlights their relevance, inspires curiosity and builds interest and passion to succeed. I can also contribute great strategies for overall learning and academic success, from my own experience and observation, and apply this to the individual needs of a student.

I think the most important things are: - inspiring a student to succeed - helping a student to overcome challenges and blocks on their academic journey - mentoring a student to become an independent learner - taking the time to apply the content to the practical situation and learning journey of the individual
