What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy seeing how different teaching strategies can help different people understand concepts better. Especially in studying teaching, I find it rewarding to see pedagogical theory working in practice, as well as seeing my students reach their academic goals.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am a patient and understanding person, attributes which I believe are suited to tutoring as I am willing to invest however long it takes to help a student understand a concept, reach the next grade band, or whatever their goals may be. I am organised and hard-working, so students and their families can rely on my commitment to tutoring and my work with students of all levels of schooling, as well as my teaching study at university, has provided me with applicable social and pedagogical skills.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe that the most important thing a tutor can do for their student is to support them. Schooling can be stressful at times, and I consider it imperative that a tutor does not focus solely on pushing their students academically, but understands the student's perspective and supports them in reaching their goals, especially when times are tough.
