What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Personally, I love seeing students' improvement and understanding through my teaching, and if the grade they receive makes them smile, that would be so enjoyable for me. I always hope that they can manipulate their knowledge in different exercises, not by remembering or learning by heart. I feel like if students have any achievement, that would be my contribution, enhancing their capability to solve the puzzle, and that is definitely the proudest and happiest moment of a tutor.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I would say is that how I can be patient and communicate with students to solve their difficulties in a specific math exercise. This is when I break an issue into chunks and explain in details each. I also may use another example that is more realistic and familiar with students' experience in their own life (cause it is Mathematical Methods) to make them more understandable. I could repeat that problem many times until students can truly understand it, but it has to be they, explaining that again to me so I can check whether they understand it right.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
From what I have been taught from my previous teacher, I believe that the most important thing for a tutor is their professional job ethnics. It means that a tutor needs to provide students with accurate knowledge and full effort to help students truly understand and solve the puzzle easily. What a tutor teaches needs to be revised to examine whether it is true before claiming statements to students. The tutor also has to maintain a reasonable attitude towards teaching students and always keep trying to make them become the best version of themselves.
