What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Showing students different ways and approaches to learning that I've refined over the years, so they gain perspective on the content they learn. By doing so, they become more self-sufficient and take action over their education. When students gain this momentum in their studies, it's encouraging to see their efforts pay off through improved marks, which leads to more motivation to learn and achieve.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Being able to understand the broader perspective and the little details in what students are learning. This means that I am not only aware of what the module asks for, but also the niches of a topic which can enhance a student's knowledge and marks. By solidifying this intuition into lesson plans and study materials, students are able to cover all bases of a subject and gain a holistic understanding of what they're learning
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Teaching students to be self-sufficient in their studies, and to be motivated to learn more and go beyond the scope of their course. Students who have always performed well in the past have adopted this way of thinking and learning, and is something that every tutor should instil in their students. By keeping their students organised, motivated and passionate, tutors can ensure that they will remain productive throughout the week, not just in their hour-long lesson each week.
