My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Strengths: I am approachable and patient. I have a knack for explaining complicated concepts in a clear and simplified manner. I have a good academic record and performed very well throughout my school years and at university. I have also undergone mathematics tuition during my VCE and I believe that a valuable part of being a good teacher/tutor involves appreciating the student’s perspective. Weaknesses: I have not worked as a tutor in an official capacity. Having worked in an academic environment for so many years, I may take time to adjust to the school age-appropriate level.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

One of the most important things for me as a tutor is for the student to see an improvement in their confidence and understanding as a result of my tuition and hopefully this is reflected in their school results. I hope to provide a unintimidating environment where students feel comfortable to freely discuss their difficulties.
