What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy being able to help students understand whatever content they need to, and seeing the progression of their understanding increase with more complicated coverage of content. I love helping other people, and if I can help people understand what I enjoy (Math and Science) then I will do whatever I can to help them.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor, I believe my strengths are my understanding and ability to quickly pick up any content, understand a students current curriculum and break it down so that it is easy to understand.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important things I for a tutor to do is understand and listen to the student. Not listening can be one of the most frustrating things as a student, where the tutor doesn't understand what they actually need help with, and wastes time going over the wrong content in the wrong way. Being able to understand the student, and then properly communicate and help them with that is the most important part of tutoring.

Stephanie did not properly understand how big each of mm, cm and m, after some time spend measuring with 15cm ruler and drawing a number line with intervals representing 1m, with cm's and mm's she now understands 10mm=1mm, 100cm=1m, and practiced conversion between different units.
Forgot to complete tutor homework after missing a session (two weeks). Glued Tutor printout into book to keep track of tutorial success, notes and materials.

Stephanie practiced T/A and B/C well during the tutorial while working on the questions. We used dice to count random frequencies, then tallied and converted frequencies to fractions and decimals. Good understanding of conversion between the three now.
Stephanie did not complete the homework which I assigned, and struggles to remember what she worked on during the week in class. Writing any questions she has in a separate book and bringing that home should help solidify understanding or memory of content covered in class, and allow us to work through it in tutorial.
Stephanie completed the homework I assigned, listened and understood practices of T/A and B/C.
