What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Being able to help others understand a concept they've had trouble is really amazing, and shows than anyone can learn something with the right explanation and enough determination.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I can be patient when working with someone, iterating over a concept in different ways, using different examples, to help them reach an understanding of a concept. Additionally, as a very structured person, I believe I can bring that same structure to tutoring so that the path students take to learn a concept is intuitive and makes sense.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think the most important thing for a tutor to do is to always be available to the students for any questions they may have, in and outside of the lesson. This is because I beleive that being afraid to ask questions is the biggest barrier to learning as this conversational aspect is crucial to understanding a concept entirely. Apart from that, being patient with a student and taking time to explain a concept, and then using their newfound knowledge to answer various questions to develop their intuition is also crucial in their development.
