What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy learning about my students and adapting to their perspectives on school and studying. I also love helping students and watching them reach their full potential. I believe hard work beats talent and every student has the ability to reach their academic goals if they adopt a growth mindset, which is why I enjoy tutoring, as I can watch and assist students achieve goals and boost their confidence and satisfaction within school.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

One of my strengths as a tutor is my patience. I'm a very patient person naturally, and in this field it's very important to understand that students make take time to understand new concepts and being impatient not only intimidates them but ruins the learning experience. Furthermore, my ability to help students visualise theories, rather than simply understanding how formulas are used is another strength I hold which helps students go much further academically.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

One of the most important things a tutor can do for a student is help them develop confidence in their academic abilities. A lot of students find it hard to grow academically due to their lack of confidence and communication with teachers, therefore as a tutor it's very important that you make sure students understand that there is no such thing as a bad question, and ensure that students are comfortable communicating their ideas to you. Additionally, tutors should make sure to praise their students for all their achievements and instill a growth mindset within their students.
