What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Being able to see a student's growth and their enjoyment of learning is easily the most rewarding part of the tutoring experience. Furthermore, being able to meet new people and using the knowledge I have gained to be of use to another student
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I have excellent communication skills. I am able to convey even complex concepts and ideas in a simple manner, so it is easy to understand.
As a recently graduated high school student, I am empathetic to the experiences of students, whether that be feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or having low self-esteem. I have great strategies to overcome and cope with these struggles, which I believe are very valuable for a tutor.
I am a very optimistic person. I love meeting new people, and believe that I would provide positivity and enthusiasm to a student's tutoring experience.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe that the most important thing about a tutor is their ability to motivate and encourage a student in their learning journey. A tutor must be able to show enthusiasm and positivity towards learning, and rather than using rote learning techniques, to engage the student so that they can demonstrate longevity in their education. It is important to treat students as individual, multi-faceted people, and hence be able to guide them to take charge of their own learning and show initiative.
