What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy being able to make an impact in a way I am capable of, and ensuring that students can achieve their full potential in their studies. Teaching students new techniques and methods gives me satisfaction as I can watch them improve and learn from my teaching. Tutoring also gives me a big learning opportunity, as I will be able to interact with many different kinds of people with different learning methods, giving myself an opportunity to develop as a person.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe my strengths as a tutor are that I am capable of giving students explanations on how certain concepts work, and going through a method with the student on how to solve the problem, and not just giving them the answer right away. I also have access to many past exams/tests/worksheets that I am able to provide that I have collected through my schooling, which I am able to provide to students. This is extremely beneficial as especially in subjects in Mathematics and Sciences, the best way to improve are doing many practice questions.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe that the most important thing a tutor can do is to make sure the student can understand concepts using simple and easy to understand reasoning that involves examples, diagrams and analogies. The student must be able to understand concepts throughly and know how certain concepts fit together within the context of a problem to excel in a subject, which a tutor can provide when a school teacher may not be able to due to time constraints and a larger classroom setting.
