What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is helping students understand concepts and encouraging them to reach their full potential. I love seeing students and my friends grasp concepts when I explain it in a way that teachers may not have thought of.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I have been tutored in General English for two years with Cluey learning and two years with Lisa Study Guides so I know what a high quality tutor can provide and I aspire to become one of my tutors that encouraged me to work hard in English. Although my overall results in Maths are not desirable, math exams were my strengths and an area of improvement would be my math assignments. I have kept my external exam study guide for specialist maths and my preparation for an unseen exam that I'm happy to share. I also have online physics palm cards that addresses each QCAA physics criteria.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I may have just graduated high school but I truly believe that a tutor that is young and not an experienced teacher will be beneficial for the student. As a student, I experienced first hand how most teachers get a student lost in terminology or over-complicated explanations. As a tutor, I will work hard to break down math, chemistry and physics problems in steps that are easy to understand. I truly believe that tutors should not do the work for the student but aid them in finding the answer or working through similar problems.
