My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think one of my merits is that I have great patience with people. So, if I am struggling to make progress with a student, I will persist with them rather than give up easily. I also think I am a very open and approachable person, so I can interact better with students. I think my weakness is that I may sometimes am too much of a perfectionist, meaning if I do not achieve something to the fullest extent, or in this case, with a student, I may be dissatisfied.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is not only to teach them what to think, but show them how they can independently develop their own original ideas - how they think. This is particularly true for humanities subjects such as English, where it may be challenging for a student to develop their own ideas and write essays with overused ideas.
