What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Watching the development and growth of a students skill in a subject and in turn, their confidence with the subject. On top of this I also love the idea of infatuating the student with said topic and to make them love it.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Patience and Resilience: I have a sense of patience where if one method of teaching does not effectively connect with the student, I can devise another strategy, regardless of how many attempts I will successfully tutor the student.
Organization, Confidence and Connectability: One factor that will differentiate me from other tutors is my knowledge of the effect that a good tutor will have on a student, this is because a tutor had brought myself from a struggling student in year 9 to top 5% in VCE 2021. On top of this I am highly organized and present with great confidence to the student.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe that the greatest affect that a good tutor can do for a student is to infatuate the student into the subject, meaning to truly engage and interest the student in the topic. Once this happens the student will grow a love for the subject, leading them to career paths regarding this subject. This will more importantly grow a work ethic for the student, meaning that even if their future doesn't follow the subject they can bring this ethic into anything they do, having an everlasting positive effect on the student.
I believe this because this is exactly what my tutor did for me.
