What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I love how being a tutor could potentially make a huge impact on the student, whether being academically, self-confidence, sense of purpose and even helping them achieve their dream course. The flexibility of being a tutor which would allow me to balance between study, work and other commitments. Also, the independence would help me to further develop my decision-making, problem solving and time-management skills which are very important skill sets in life. You can form valuable connections with students as you can help them not only surviving school academically but also socially and mentally
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Having been through school myself, I would be able to relate to students especially struggles that they may often face. I would also have better understanding on ways that students may find helpful when learning new content.
I have developed good communication skills, patience, empathy from work, school, placement, volunteer and life experiences. I believer these are all very important qualities for a tutor.
I enjoy helping others and would love to apply my abilities to make a positive impact on students' learning experience.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Commitment and being patient with them as well as listening to their needs and concerns and actually remembering them. If a tutor is committed to helping their student, they would try to identify their strengths and weaknesses that need to be addressed. They would try to use ways that best help their student, to suit their preferred learning methods. A tutor should not only be able to help students survive school academically but also socially and mentally. They may even be a role model that the student can look up to, able to set them in a right path and achieve goals and success.

be careful of handwriting otherwise may get confused when multiplying percentages, doing it as fraction would be easier than decimals. Try to simplify fractions when possible before multiplying to save time.
