What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love being able to help the students improve and see them become more confident in the subject as they develop their skills. Furthermore, I find that the connections formed with the students are powerful and important. I also enjoy how it strengthens my communication and leadership skills and my ability to adapt these skills to the students' needs.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

To begin with, I am very patient. I have not only worked with kids in tutoring, but I have also done babysitting for many years. Therefore I have an abundance of patience. I also have good communication skills and can explain learning at a simple level so that children can understand. I can make students visualise problems to deepen their understanding with my good communication skills. Another strength is that I have excellent emotional intelligence, so I know how to deal with my students' different moods and situations. Lastly, I have great self-discipline and I am always punctual.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Instil executive study skills that will serve the student well in academics and in life. These skills include task initiation, organisation, focus and time management. All these skills are essential to being a great learner. Furthermore, as a tutor, you are able to improve the student's self-esteem and their attitude toward the subject matter, which allows the student to improve both academically and personally.
