I am a very patient person and am able to read people pretty easily. I am able to communicate well with the student, re-explaining myself in a different way if necessary. To understand that students aren’t going to magically understand concepts they have been struggling with for a while. It’s important that tutors don’t put pressure into students to hurry up and understand as that will only cause more stress. If the student doesn’t understand, it’s up to the tutor to re-word themselves and explain the concept in another way.
