My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Ability to communicate to the students the specifics. That is, because I still have high school fresh in my memory, I can empathise with frustrations a student might be having with comprehending the work and be able to offer answers in a way that is lucid for the students to understand. I also feel that I offer positive energy that students often lack from teachers at school. In this way, I feel like I am able to engage not only the intellectual capacity of the student but also their enthusiasm for their work.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think it's a question of what a tutor can BE rather than do. I found in my experience that I always responded to teachers who were enthusiastic and portrayed a genuine care for the learning of the student. In a metaphorical sense, the tutor must think like a student in an empathetic way rather than merely be a one way stream of instruction. If a student feels like a teacher is engaging in such this way, the student responds much more positively than one normally would.
