What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

To be honest this is my first time applying for a tutor job in an organization. Though I have some prior experience in private tutoring, the part that I enjoyed most about tutoring as a private tutor was the connection that I got to form with my students and the impact that I can have on them. I also enjoyed the part where I can see my students grow their confidence as they learn and understand the subjects.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

To be honest, I'm not sure. This is my first time applying for a tutor job. I've never worked as a tutor before, and while I have some experience as a private tutor so I have a fair idea of the work, though I'm not sure how I'd fare in a real classroom. I believe I need to do the work first, at least for a few weeks, to figure out where I thrive and where I need to grow in terms of teaching. Certainly, I will not excel in all areas, and becoming an outstanding teacher is a process you learn as you go along the way.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is, to have patience with them as every student has their own pace of learning the subject. Another thing that a tutor should be able to do is to have good communication with the class, so they can build trust between them and the student. In addition to these traits, other traits that are important to have is being a good listener, being flexible, and being able to teach the students how to learn.
