What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

During my previous stint as a teacher, I had developed a good working relationship with my students that remains even to this day when most of them have graduated and started their careers in various fields. Every child loves attention, and tutoring allows it. Attention boosts children’s self-confidence and self-worth. Students who have a good self-esteem prove to have better peer relationships in the future. In short, I love teaching because I like to help students become better every day and be part of a child’s success in life.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

As a tutor and being the mother of a hearing-impaired child, while raising him and making him well educated and independent, I have developed strengths like patience, empathy, active listening, motivation, exuding positivity, and professionalism. I’m still learning as it is a never-ending process.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Firstly, a tutor must be well prepared with the subject and should prepare the study plan based roughly on the age, current working capacity, the attention span, and the areas where the student feels they are struggling. It is also important to keep the student motivated by using different methods that help them solve the same problems. Assure them that a bad grade does not define who they are, and if they focus, they will understand the subject and get better grades.
