What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy conveying concepts to other people and helping them understand the topic. I enjoy the process of working together with students to make sure we are on the same page as I learn to understand their progress and how they are taking in concepts and they learn to understand the topic. It feels rewarding when my students master the materials they are learning and I feel satisfied knowing the work I put in makes a positive impact on the community.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My ability to remain patient and observe the situation from different perspectives allow me to understand how students grasp concepts and their train of thought which helps me explain the concept. As an academic enthusiast, I was a hardworking student and learned to develop essential skills to help myself focus and comprehend complex concepts that I can share with my students. With my past experiences as a tutor, I have developed communication and organisational skills from teaching basic and advanced Math and English concepts to children of varying ages and learning to adapt in a system.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

A tutor should not only be able to articulate concepts clearly to students but to also teach them basic fundamental skills such as focus, posture, self-learning, resilience, and other studying tips that will help them develop as a student. It is important for tutors to make sure students feel like they are in a safe learning environment and are not afraid to ask any questions. A tutor should be by the student's side and help the student grow as much as possible.
